Special Educational Needs
At Bitterne Manor Primary and Nursery, we are committed to ensuring that each child is valued, cared for and given every opportunity to achieve their full potential. In our Ofsted report in 2024, it says: ‘Due to clear and effective intervention strategies, those with special educational needs and /or disabilities, those new to the country and at an early stage of learning English and other vulnerable groups, make good progress.’

The local authority consults with the school and all children with an EHCP are admitted through the statutory EHCP consultation process.
