The Diary of... Miss S!

heart The Diary of...

Miss Sangha! heart

I've been asking you to keep me updated with fab things that you may be up to and as a way of keeping me in the loop. So I had this amazing idea to do the same! I'll try and post daily letting you, my SUPER Swifties, know what I've been up to and how my day is going too. We can motivate each other and get through this strange period of time! If you want to do the same through a diary, letter or email, please do so. Just send it to swifts@bitternemanor.net

Day 1: 23rd March -

Dear Diary,

Waking up today was a strange feeling, knowing that I wouldn't be in my classroom as usual. I really didn't know what to expect...I had butterflies but not in a good way. Driving to work where the roads were clear and then arriving to an empty car park made me realise that this was really happening. The first day where I wouldn't be setting up my classroom and teaching my Super Swift class. I wondered what you'd all be doing today...

XOXO Miss S

Day 2: 24th March -

Dear Diary,

I woke up feeling a lot more positive today! Today was the day that I was going to be active! The sun is shining and there's lots of things to be happy about. I pottered around my house and did some cleaning, downloaded lots of activities for you Swifts and watched a lot of TV (I feel like Netflix will be something that I get bored of easily!) I hope today you are all feeling happy and have been up to lots...

XOXO Miss S

Day 3: 25th March -

Dear Diary,

So, today is my Birthday. Yes, I am a year older (Hopefully don't look it though) and this is the first day that I am spending my Birthday at home. Strange but quite nice. I've had a lovely breakfast, enjoyed my coffee, opened my cards and present parcels (Thanks to my family) and been super productive online! I'm just sat here gazing out of the window looking at the sunshine and thinking about all the things that I am grateful for.  What are you most grateful for? Me? It's a lot of things but in a time like this, my family, friends and health. I couldn't ask for more... I hope you are all keeping safe. Thinking of all of your happy faces today, I miss you! Will eat lots of CAKE later I think...!

XOXO Miss S

Day 4: 26th March -

Dear Diary,

I woke up feeling re-charged and happy to start the day. Having the sun shining outside really does make a difference, don't you think? I did manage to eat lots of cake last night and had a really lovely day in general. I wonder what you are all up to today however? Spending time with you family? Working your way through those packs? Checking the website on daily activities posted? Either way, know that I am here and thinking about you all. I'd love to hear from you so please do get in touch :)

XOXO Miss S

Day 5: 27th March -

Dear Diary,

Happy FRI-YAY SUPER Swifts! Yes, it is Friday...where has this week gone? Today felt a little bit more normal because I was going into school.  I felt a little excited as it's a routine that I know well. I spent lots of my day tidying and cleaning our lovely classroom however it made me a bit sad not seeing your lovely selves in it.  The classroom is SPARKLING clean though for when you do return :)  On another positive note, I got to see Miss Jones, Miss Bradley, Mrs Meddings and Mrs Egerton! It was fab! Obviously we kept our distance but had a really good catch up.  It's been so lovely to hear from some of you today too via the class email.  Please do keep in touch as I love hearing about what you're up to.  I hope you have a lovely weekend...I'll try and catch some sun in the garden and mostly relax.

XOXO Miss S

P.S Check out our school distancing picture - it's so sunny that my eyes had to close laugh

Day 6: 30th March -

Dear Diary,

Hi Swifties! I hope you've all had a fab weekend and managed to enjoy the sunshine somehow or another? My Saturday seemed to fly by where I felt like I didn't do very much. Just the usual binge on Netflix...Then Sunday came and with the clocks going forward one hour I seemed to be quite productive around the house (which was unexpected but good)  Waking up today helped me get back into a routine which was nice.  However, switching off my alarm I realised that I had no where to go surprise None the less, I still got up and decided to focus my attention on work.  I've managed to prepare resources for the whole week! As well as this, logging onto our class email account put a HUGE smile on my face, hearing from you makes my day! As far as Mondays go, this one has been fairly productive! Let's see what this week brings, positive vibes... heart

Day 7: 31st March -

Dear Diary,

Today's been a very productive day indeed.  I woke up as my alarm went off but decided to have a bit of a lie in...it felt fab! Feeling a little guilty, I pushed myself out of bed and managed to make some breakfast ready to start the day. Mmmmm porridge and coffee! Logging onto my laptop, I carried out my usual routine: posting daily activities, checking emails and blogging. I've heard from a few of you today and it's truly made my day, I LOVE hearing from my SUPER Swifts and seeing what you've been up to through the lovely pictures shared by your Mummies and Daddies. Please keep it up :) As time passed, I decided to venture out...certain food is slowly running out as I seem to be eating EVERYTHING! Nevertheless, a trip out felt nice.  It was lovely going for a drive as it feels like ages since I last drove my car. You'll be pleased to know that I bought the essentials and some treats - chocolate is definitely needed in a time like this :) Are you all eating lots like me? Don't worry, I'll burn off those calories tomorrow somehow and get active! Maybe now might be a good time to get healthy...? Something for me to think about! Look forward to seeing what tomorrow brings... I hope you're all well and keeping safe.

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 8: 1st April -

Dear Diary,

It's the first day of a new month! Where did March go? Felt like it went by in a blink of an eye :( I hope you've all had a fab day today Swifts. You've certainly kept me busy today with your amazing pictures and messages sent to me via the class email account. I LOVE it! Seeing your smiling faces makes my day :) Apart from work and responding to you all I haven't been up to much. The temperature seems to have dropped today so I've stayed nice and snug indoors. I did however, research some healthy fruit smoothies to try and craft tomorrow...strawberries and kale...mmmmm this will be a very interesting one to make I think. I'll keep you posted on how well this goes and tastes tomorrow...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 9: 2nd April -

Dear Diary,

So, I actually felt super productive today in regards to doing more than just work! I logged on as usual, posted bits, organised things, did some house work, de-cluttered bits, made a super scrumptious lunch and made that healthy smoothie that I mentioned yesterday... it actually tasted delicious! Kale and strawberries taste amazing together, honestly! Take a peak of what else I put in it...

I will definitely try to keep this up daily.  Might even try different recipes... If you have any suggestions, let me know! smiley Not being able to go to the gym has been a big thing that I miss. So, I had a look around the house and found some bits in the garage that I'm going to try and use tomorrow for a workout session. Wish me luck...it's been a couple of weeks! I hope you're having a great day SUPER Swifts. Just one more day to go until the weekend, nearly there and we would've got through another week. Until tomorrow...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 10: 3rd April -

Dear Diary,

...HAPPY FRI-YAY my SUPER Swifts! I woke up thinking about you all today and how this would've been our last day of term :( Really strange I know... Your messages and pictures have got me through these weeks though and I just want to say a huge thank you! I'm incredibly proud of each and every one of you during this difficult period of time, I know how hard it must be.  Keep up the amazing attitude and effort because I know how strong, positive and resilient you all are. You are SUPER and Miss Bradley, Mrs Stubley and I miss you all.  I've posted lots of Easter fun up on our class page to keep you all busy so please do have a look.  Please keep emailing me as I LOVE hearing from you all! Keep safe my Swifts and as always, keep smiling...heart

Something to make you all smile...

Day 11: 20th April  -

Dear Diary,

Wow, it seems like it's been absolutely ages since I last wrote to you all, only two weeks though! My they have flown by! I really hope that you are all well and keeping safe, I've thought about you all! I do hope that you had a lovely Easter break, well as lovely as it could've been. The weather has been absolutely beautiful though and that's definitely kept a smile on my face.  I hope it's done the same to yours. I managed to keep myself busy during the break and did lots of things. Some of these were: catching up with friends and family through face time, keeping in touch with some of the teaching staff at school, lots of cleaning (my house is sparkling) reading books, exercising everyday (I am super proud of this) eating healthy -yes those smoothies are still going strong and might I add still delicious, relaxing in my garden and catching some vitamin D vibes, watching TV, shopping online and buying things that I probably don't need (I think I might have a serious shopping problem by the end of this) and many more! One thing that has kept me going is reflecting on the things that I am grateful for and remaining positive. It's massively helped! What have you all been up to I wonder? Please get in touch and share, I'd LOVE to hear all about it. It makes my day hearing from you and seeing your beaming smiles... blush

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 12: 21st April -

Dear Diary,

I woke up today with a massive smile on my face...today was the day that I was going into School! I literally leaped out of bed (I rarely do this) and got myself ready. I was waking up with a purpose and it made all the difference in the world! I even did my makeup (trust me, this is something that I haven't done in ages) It just felt like an ordinary day. Driving to work I found myself singing along to the songs gearing me up for the day ahead. It was a fab feeling! However, going into School did feel really odd and too quiet for my liking. It's something that's the new normal for now I guess. It felt good to be back nonetheless. What have you all been up to today? I spent my day with a select few of the children along with some of the staff. Mr Bedford has definitely enjoyed being out in the sun today! The weather has been LUSH so hard not to spend it outside to be fair. I just wish that I could've seen your faces today. That would've made my day! Walking into our classroom didn't feel the same and it looks so bare and empty without you all in it. However, looking at your selfie pictures outside it made me smile. It made me think about how much fun you must all be having. I can't wait to hear about it so please do keep sharing Swifts! Hearing from you all makes me so happy! I think I'll definitely sleep well tonight as I feel absolutely shattered...early night for me I think. Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 13: 22nd April -

Dear Diary,

Today's been a very productive day indeed! I woke up, carried out my usual routine: ate breakfast (porridge today with a teaspoon of Nutella... it's LUSH trust me) and logged on to see who had emailed me today as well as posting tasks for you all.  I usually do my workout but today I decided to clean first instead, thinking that this would only take an hour or so. I was wrong...it took double the amount of time if not more but mainly because I dusted EVERYTHING! I started off in one corner of a room and just made my way round. With this beautiful sunshine you literally see everything. Now, I can happily say that it's dust free! Let's see how long that lasts... After this I worked out and my was it challenging today. I didn't give up though and by the end of it I was feeling great. As a treat I decided to sit in the garden and caught up on some vitamin D...it's been so HOT today. Miss Jones gave me a surprise call which was lovely - it's safe to say that she's definitely been enjoying the sunshine in her garden. I can wait to see her soon, really do miss her along with my other friends heart Have you all been enjoying the sun? I bet you'll all have a lovely tan by the end of this. I think I might spend more time in the garden tomorrow, my tan needs a little bit more work! Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 14: Thursday 23rd April -

Dear Diary,

Today has flown by! I can't believe that it's nearly the weekend, where has this week gone? I spent the majority of the day in the the sun as I stated yesterday...I definitely worked on my tan today blush It was so hot, felt rude not to enjoy it a little! I received lots of fab work from some of you today - that put a huge smile on my face. Please do keep sharing! I didn't do much cleaning but suspect this will be on my to do list tomorrow. I did however cook a homemade chicken curry, it was delicious! A little too spicy but still very tasty! Take a look for yourselves...

At least it's FRI-YAY tomorrow so that's another week down... not long to go now (fingers crossed) Until tomorrow my super Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 15: Friday 24th April -

Dear Diary,

Guess what today is? It's... FRIYAY blush We love our FRIYAYs don't we Swifts? I can't believe that the weekend is here though, the days seem to be rolling into one big blur at the moment. None the less, the sun is still shining and that's definitely something to be happy about. I managed to remain really productive though, logged on, emailed lots of you back today, shared your wonderful work, cleaned and even did my workout. I am feeling rather pooped now though so hoping to sleep well tonight. I hope that you've had a fab day today! I know it feels like what seems like forever but I am hopeful that we will see each other soon. I don't know exactly when but all we can do is hope. Keep smiling my SUPER Swifts and make sure that you have a lovely weekend. We will smash the new week with new goals and continue with a positive mindset heart

Day 16: Monday 27th April -

Dear Diary,

Happy Monday Swifts! That weekend went by in an blink of eye but then so do the weekdays! I hope you all had a good one? I spent most of Saturday doing bits around the house, went food shopping which was a nice outing and worked out. It really is great! Sunday however, was my chill day and I spent the whole day pretty much doing that. It's nice to get back into a routine though so I welcomed today happily! I started off the day like I usually would - logging on, checking emails, posting work and blogging the wonderful work that you share with me. I managed to push myself to workout too - I'm really glad when I did it even though it took a lot of motivation to do it! I'm really excited for tomorrow as I'll be going into School! I can't wait! Let's see what happens...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 17: Tuesday 28th April -

Dear Diary,

Today I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing...it's the day where I get to go into school! It was hard getting out of bed but I managed it after a couple of snoozes! Driving into school was a ghost town and the weather is miserable today :( However, when arriving at school I managed to perk up and got to work! Mr Bedford was in with me again which was nice. We saw other members of staff too which is always lovely: Mrs Niziolek, Mrs Abbott, Miss Spiers and Miss Joseph! It's been hard keeping spirits up today because of the rain but we definitely tried. At lunchtime I took a trip down to our classroom, it seems so dull and empty without you all...

but looking at your cheeky faces on our display outside the classroom massively cheered me up!

Remember Swifts...you are AWESOME and don't you forget it! I've been receiving so many emails today from some of you and seeing all the wonderful work that you are doing. We are in this together and I'm so proud of you all. I know how much you are missing your friends and school but I promise we will see each other soon heart A big shout out to my Swift parents - you are doing an amazing job! Please keep it up, I am proud of you all! The afternoon in school seemed to fly by and before we knew it the end of the day was here. Strange as it seems but I actually learnt a new skill today, how to ...TIKTOK. Yes, you heard right. Miss J and I even tried one (a plank challenge) and will definitely be recording one soon for you all. She is convinced that she will get Mr Adams involved in one so watch this space... she wanted to say hello to you all too so here she is with me...

Even though the weather hasn't been great, the vibe at school definitely was better. Hopefully this has cheered you up today if you are feeling a little glum. Stay strong Swifts and most importantly keep those smiles on your fab faces! I love hearing from you, seeing what you're up to and most importantly knowing that you are safe and well so please keep sharing with me at our class email - swifts@bitternemanor.net

Until tomorrow...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 18: Wednesday 29th April -

Dear Diary,

Wow...my muscles are aching today! Working out every day definitely makes you feel good but there are some downfalls to it as well. Are any of you doing the Joe Wicks workout everyday? It's actually quite hard! Well done to you if you are - keep it up :) The weather has been pretty miserable today hasn't it? Getting lots of emails again from some of you has definitely put a smile on my face on this glum day, thank you! Hopefully the sun will re-appear tomorrow... at least we are over half way of the week though. Not long now and it'll be the weekend :) Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 19: Thursday 30th April -

Dear Diary,

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and rain... I really hope it's not like this all day I thought. I got up and went about my usual routine determined not to let the weather get me down. I had a fairly productive morning which was great - logged on, checked emails, blogged and sent messages. After having some breakfast I felt a lot better and kept myself busy! It's days like these where I'd love to see family and friends... By the time I had done all my chores I received a really lovely surprise. There was something special left at my door... a present. I opened it up and it was this...

Miss Jones had left me a belated birthday present and something to put a smile on my face. It definitely did that! How lovely is she? It honestly made my day, I rang her and thanked her immediately. Where my birthday falls in March, my star sign is an 'Aries' sign. Some of the traits are listed above on the gift. One of them is to be optimistic and she reminded me to stay upbeat and positive heart In times like these, it reminded me that we all have wobbly days but it's how we get passed those and go on to have better. Tomorrow will definitely be a better day because of her lovely act of kindness. Have you been keeping in touch with your friends? If not, why not see if you can give them a call or write to them. It might just make their day and yours! Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 20: Friday 1st May -

Dear Diary,

Happy FRI-YAY Swifts! The weekend is nearly here and guess what? It's the first day of a new month! Crazy how time is flying by right? I hope you've all had a good day today, the weather definitely has picked up :) I'm feeling a lot more positive today and much more like myself. I had a really productive day and managed to get lots of bits done around the house too. Might've been because I had all this extra energy after my daily workout...I always feel a lot more positive after doing this! One thing that has kept a smile on my face has been hearing from some of you today. I love it! I've had emails from you telling me what you've been up to, pictures of what you have been doing and work sent in. Receiving these still makes me feel like I'm your teacher and gives me a purpose. I miss seeing all your faces, teaching you something new and laughing with you all. Times like these make you appreciate a lot of things and my class is definitely one of them smiley Make sure you all have a wonderful weekend and get lots of rest. Monday will mark and new week and new goals for us to smash!

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 21: Monday 4th May -

Dear Diary,

Happy Monday my SUPER Swifts! Today marks a new week where new goals and new opportunities arise, how exciting! So, my goal for this week is to actually read more. I'll keep you posted on how well I stick to this... I woke up this morning feeling fairly tired but once up I felt really motivated to carry out my day. As always, I started my day as usual - logging on, responding to your emails, posting new work etc. I've been sticking to a really good routine lately which is great. Eating an actual breakfast and enjoying it has been the best thing. Today it was porridge with a hint of Nutella and a cup of coffee...YUM! What cool routine have you all been trying? I worked out after and it was tough today. However, I didn't give up! I persevered and I completed it! I always have way more energy after it so I decided to clean the house...again. Definitely a productive day and it's not even over yet! I hope you've managed to access the new tasks that I posted - they're super fun! It's so lovely receiving comments from you, please keep sharing, I LOVE it heart Guess what? The staff created a really cool video to share with you all, something to make you all smile and to say that we are missing you. Have you seen it? Check it out if you haven't - https://bitternemanorprimary.blogspot.com/2020/05/keep-smiling.html You'll be smiling by the end of it, I PROMISE! For a Monday it's been a pretty good start to the week Swifts. Let's see what tomorrow brings...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 22: Tuesday 5th May -

Dear Diary,

I woke up this morning feeling really sleepy, it was hard getting out of bed. After much thought, I managed to push myself out and started my day. I began my normal routine, logging on, posting work and responding to emails. Just like yesterday, I had some porridge (with Nutella of course) and a very strong cup of coffee! As the day passed I felt much more motivated and managed my daily workout. Something that I was not looking forward to today. This was mega hard and I nearly gave up at one point... but I didn't. Even though I was aching afterwards, it felt good! With that extra energy I did some bits around the house. I mentioned yesterday about wanting to read more this week and true to my word I started a book last night before bed. It's really insightful and I can't wait to read some more tonight. Are you all exploring books? Any interesting ones? I'd love to hear about it if so. I hope you've all have a productive day Swifts. I think i'll be having a bit of a lazy evening, gives my muscles a chance to recover! Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 23: Wednesday 6th May -

Dear Diary,

It's Wednesday! This means that we are half way through the week :) Waking up this morning I felt happy and ready to start the day. I went about my usual routine and got hard to work! After this, I carried out my workout which went well today and then did bits around the house (as always) It's so lovely to see the sun stay out today, I really hope we have this tomorrow and over the long weekend! I'm excited for tomorrow as I'm going into School :) It'll be strange but definitely a happy feeling. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you tomorrow, if not, hopefully soon. Fingers crossed... I hope you've had a good day Swifts. Keep up the SUPER learning, it really does make me very proud heart Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 24: Thursday 7th May -

Dear Diary,

Today's been the best day that I've had for a while! I went into school today and it was honestly just lovely. The sun was shining which always makes everything better. The staff that were in today were great and so were the children. It was just so lovely seeing people! We made some special VE bunting to celebrate the event tomorrow and hung it high outside near the school sign for everyone to see. It's fab! The children have done us proud :) I've been receiving lots of wonderful work from you today an it's just kept the biggest smile on my face. It's all just been incredible heart However, it's making me miss you all more! School isn't the same without my SUPER Swift class and it's days like today where I am ever so grateful to be your teacher. I know we don't know when we will be together again but when we are, it'll be the best thing ever. I promise! You are all amazing and I just want you to know just how proud I am of you all. Stay strong and as always, keep those little smiles on your faces. Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 25: Friday 8th May - May Bank Holiday!

Day 26: Monday 11th May -

Dear Diary,

Happy Monday SWIFTS! It's whatever or however many weeks into this lock down now but it's all good because a new week marks new goals and new opportunities! I'm feeling really optimistic and very positive about this week and I believe that good things are going to happen for us all! I can just feel it... I was very excited (and a tad sleepy) waking up this morning as I was heading into School today. I'll be going in tomorrow too which is an added bonus as I'll get to see some of you tomorrow hopefully... How's your Monday been? Hopefully SUPER! New work is posted for this week, just check the stars :) This week's Science one is a very good one indeed so make sure you see that one, it includes a chance to see ME as a baby! Yes, you heard right! Head over to our class page to have a look at the task now if you haven't already. It was fab going into School today. I caught up with lots of staff today at School which is always great and had a fairly productive day. When I got home I received a really lovely surprise from my sister...she had sent these doughnuts that you can decorate and make them your very own. HOW COOL? They smell absolutely divine! It was hard not to eat them before decorating! I opened up the packaging and had a look at what to do...

First, I had to take out the doughnuts of the packet, they're huge by the way! Next, read the instructions on how to decorate them. Then, I took out all the decorating bits - coloured icing, sweets, chocolates and sprinkles! After that, I started to decorate them - this was the best bit by far! Have a look and see for yourselves, not bad for a first attempt, warning you may get slightly peckish...

The link to where you can get your very own DIY kit and decorate some like me is above - ask your Mum or Dad to see if you could order some and do together perhaps? It's a really great activity, tell them that I said it is! If you do, please show me! I'm going to take some into School tomorrow I think and cut them up for staff to try and see what they think. I reckon that they'll be gone within minutes... cheeky Like I said Swifts, I feel like this feel is going to be a good week. Until tomorrow my super duper class...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 27: Tuesday 12th May -

Dear Diary,

Swifts, guess what? I had such a great day today! Going in today I felt really upbeat and positive ready to take on the day! Once in School I got together with the other members of staff that were in - Miss Jones, Mr Bedford, Mrs Carey and Mrs Kasba. We planned what we wanted to do and got busy. It's been a very productive day indeed! The children that were in worked really hard so we gave them a creative task where they could make their very own alien. There's a vote to see which one is the most creative one...have you say! It's up on the blog - http://bitternemanorprimary.blogspot.com/ Mr Adams seemed quite impressed with it, being a Star Wars fan and all! As well as this, we decided to take up the 'Toilet Roll' challenge. Yes, you heard right! We managed to get Mr Adams involved which was great - he LOVES it! laugh It was really fun to do, we put it all together and made a video for everyone to see. Take a peek...

Toilet Roll Challenge.MOV

Still image for this video

What do you think? Cool right! Well, it was until I got hit with multiple toilet rolls! smiley If you fancy doing this challenge with your family please share it - I'd love to see it! You'll have a blast doing it - I promise! All in all, it's been a really good day. I hope you've all had a fab day too? I'd love to hear about what you've been up to so please do get in touch with me! heart Let's see what tomorrow brings my SUPER Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 28: Wednesday 13th May -

Dear Diary,

It's half way of the week Swifts! Where is this week going? It's flying by for sure! How are you all today? I've had a fairly productive day which is always good but feeling really tired now as a result. I did my usual routine - wake up, eat breakfast, log on, clean, workout and eat some more! I am very achy from my workout today, I'm hoping that's a good thing though! I managed to motivate Miss Jones to workout too today which is always nice. Feels good helping someone else through this strange time and spreading lots of positive vibes - well trying to heart I'm missing you all today, those happy little faces. Keep smiling! Until tomorrow Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

Day 29: Thursday 14th May -

Dear Diary,

Hey my SUPER Swifts! How have you all been? Hopefully, good! I woke up feeling a bit 'meh' today, mainly down to my hay fever. The pollen count is off the chart today! However, once I had got up and had something to eat I felt much better. I went about my usual routine and managed a workout on my rest day. It was hard but I pushed myself! Miss Jones has been in contact with me a lot today - via phone of course but it's been really lovely. She's been working out the past couple of days and I've been trying to help her with my workout plans. She loves it! Motivating your friends is the best feeling and it made my day knowing how hard she's worked on this. Don't give up Miss Jones! As well as this, I received a really sweet message from another friend saying how they love seeing my posts about my workouts as I seem to be motivating her too! It was really unexpected but so lovely. Knowing that I'm happy with own progress is good enough for me but being able to spread a little bit of positivity that helps other people is just amazing. It's nice to know that you can help others around you without knowing. Like take you Swifts, you inspire and motivate me everyday. I wake up with a pure purpose of making sure that I can do anything to help you and get you through this strange period of time. Receiving work and messages from you all is the best feeling and knowing that you're okay is all that matters heart I miss you all! Let's make tomorrow the best day yet shall we? Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 30: Friday 15th May -

Dear Diary,

Happy FRI-YAY my SUPER SWIFTS! Wow, this week started off quite slow and then flew by didn't it? I hope you've all had a fabulous day, the sun certainly has been out today for sure! I've had a really good day, probably the best one so far this week...it started last night where I did a quiz with some of the staff on Zoom which was really fun! Waking up this morning was difficult as I felt really tired but I managed to push myself out of bed and get on with my daily routine. I had to add extra Nutella in my porridge this morning - somehow I felt like I'd need the energy! It's okay though as I worked out after breakfast and burned it all off. My workout was definitely the hardest one by far but I didn't give up. It's FRI-YAY after all so I gave it my all! As I got on with the rest of the day, I received a special parcel through the post. I felt so excited opening it up, I wasn't expecting anything so I was really intrigued to see what it was...

Look how lovely this is! Miss Jones had sent me something just to put a smile on my face. She certainly did that! I couldn't believe it! It's a self care kit and has lots of lovely things in there... I can't wait to use them all. Feeling really emotional I couldn't help but feel grateful. It's the little things that make a difference and this is one of those things. Miss Jones - this is so beautiful and I absolutely love it! You are a STAR! THANK YOU SO MUCH! heart Thinking that this day couldn't get any better I received another special surprise. Miss Bradley had sent me a message and said that she'd left something on my doorstep...

...they are so pretty! How kind of her! Asking why, she replied with I just wanted to do something for you. At this point I felt beyond blessed. I think that I am friends with the most kind hearted souls, honestly. I said on Monday that this week would be a good one and it turned out to be a really good week. The one thing missing is all of you! You make my day by doing all the wonderful things that you're doing at home with your family. I'm so proud of you all and I honestly can't wait to see you all soon. Have a wonderful weekend my Swifties, I feel like it's going to be a good one!

Day 31: Monday 18th May -

Dear Diary,

Happy Monday Swifts! Today's been a really good day! I woke up feeling super sleepy as I didn't quite sleep well but I managed to get up and get ready. After all, I was heading into School today and I couldn't wait. It felt good to be driving to work as it's been a while so I made the most of it and sang along to some of the songs to wake myself up a little. When I got to School it was sad to see the car park empty but I know that it won't always be like this...It was lovely seeing Mrs Egerton as I hadn't seen her for a while along with Miss Head, Mrs Stubley and Miss Schofield. As it's Mental Health Awareness week we decided to do something to promote this with some of the children in School. The theme this year is kindness so we created a banner and displayed this outside the School. We thought it would be a lovely sign to see when people enter our school. Take a look...

Cool right? Everyone did a great job creating it heart  Once School was finished it was time to head home. Feeling really happy, I had my shades on and the music blaring, it felt great to have been in School today. What a great start to the week! I hope that you've all had a FAB start to the week too? Let's see if we can continue this! Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 32: Tuesday 19th May -

Dear Diary,

WOW, it is hot today! The sun is shining and it's such a lovely day! I woke up to it streaming through my blinds and it helped me get up. Once up, I tackled my day and got on with my usual routine. After eating breakfast I logged on and did some bits for you all. I decided to make my way into School today too as I had some things that I needed to get done. It was fab! I saw many members of staff in today and everyone seemed in good spirits! Being outside was like being in an oven though so I had little doses of sunshine. When I got home, feeling fairly positive I decided to do my workout as I hadn't done it earlier. It was a hard one today Swifts. Honestly, I had to seriously push myself and not give up. I felt really proud afterwards and happy that it was finally over! I've been receiving lots of messages from you all today which has been lovely. I am missing you all and I honestly can't wait to see you. I hope you've all enjoyed the sun safely today too. Let's see what tomorrow brings! Until tomorrow my SUPER Swifts...

Day 33: Wednesday 20th May -

Dear Diary,

It's mid week Swifts which means that we are close to the weekend :) How have you all been today? I hope you've been enjoying the sun - it is HOT! I've managed to hibernate inside today and keep cool as much as I can. I carried out my usual routine - got up, had breakfast, logged on and did some work. I contemplated not working out today because it's so hot but true to my word, I did it! My goodness that was a tough one but it felt good to have done it. You'll be pleased to know that I've been continuing with my healthy smoothies and on a day like today it was quite refreshing :) I've heard from lots of you again today which has been wonderful! I love hearing from you. Mr Adams made a 'home school' video showing off some of your learning at home. It made me quite emotional watching it. I am so proud of you all and can't wait to see you soon. Keep smiling heart Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 34: Thursday 21st May -

Dear Diary,

Happy Thursday Swifts! Today's been a really strange day where I feel like I haven't achieved much. I got up, actually got woken up by someone knocking on the front door - it was the postman who had a delivery! One of my many spontaneous online shopping bits...smiley That instantly put a smile on my face. I had my breakfast - porridge with a teaspoon of Nutella, it honestly tastes so good! After this, I logged on and carried on with my usual routine. It got to midday and I felt like I should workout even though it was my 'rest' day. So I did a mini one and actually felt good after it. Very positive! I had some lunch and made my smoothie. It's been quite chilled today which has been nice. How have you all been today? I hope you've had a good day? Keeping hot in the sunshine no doubt! Well, at least tomorrow is Friday so let's see what happens hey. Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 35: Friday 22nd May -

Dear Diary,

HAPPY FRI-YAY Swifts! Yey! We made it to the long weekend and of course our May Half Term break! WOW...that's come around quick hasn't it? The sun is still shining today which is fabulous, hopefully you've enjoyed it. I've had a fairly productive day today. I logged on and emailed some of you. It's so lovely to hear from you. I posted the 'Guess Who' game which is up on our Science page for this week. The baby pictures sent in are soooooo CUTE! True to my word I posted mine up too. If you haven't seen it or guessed it, here's a sneak peek of baby me...

Finding this picture prompted me to take a trip down memory lane and look through other baby pictures that were in my album. It was such a throwback! heart Hopefully you all had fun doing this too! I know it's been what seems like forever since we've last seen each other but I just want you to know that I honestly do miss you all. Our class won't be back yet which makes me a little sad but I know that we will see each other soon. It's been a very strange time but your safety always comes first. Even though it's the half term break I would still love to hear from you. So if you want to email me telling me what you've been up to then please do so. Just email our class account - swifts@bitternemanor.net It'll make my day! It always does hearing from you. I'm incredibly proud of you all! Keep smiling and spread those positive vibes. Make sure you have a super break and stay safe! Until after the half term break my SUPER Swifts...

XOXO Miss Sangha

P.S. Something to make you all smile...

it truly is the GREATEST class on Earth!

Day 36: Monday 1st June -

Dear Diary,

Hello my SUPER Swifties! Happy Monday :) It feels so good to be back here and talking to you all, I've missed you. How's your half term break been? Hopefully you've had a fabulous time and enjoyed the sun? It has been HOT hasn't it? At least that's something to be smiling about. The half term break flew by for me, I honestly can't remember what I actually did. Let me think... I did a lot of cleaning (as always) lots of exercise - my workout plans are still going strong, I'm looking to take up running this week, wish me luck. As well as this, I managed to relax a little and caught up with family on video calls (of course) Last week would've been my sister's wedding so it was a little sad yesterday for her but we all rallied round and told her to keep positive. With everything that's been going on it's had an effect on everything and things just can't be helped. It's something to look forward to soon... Something else that I'm looking forward to is seeing your fab faces. I know it's a little strange today as some year groups could go back. I don't know when you'll be back but fingers crossed it'll be really soon. Keep positive and keep up the amazing attitude. It's been so lovely to see some of you sharing your work today with me, it really does make my day. As far as Monday's go, this has definitely been a great start to the week. Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 37: Tuesday 2nd June -

Dear Diary,

How's my super Swifts doing today? Hopefully you've all had a fab day? It's been a fairly productive day for me so the day has kind of flown by! I woke up to the sun shining outside which helped me to get up and out of bed. As usual, I carried out my usual routine: have breakfast (porridge with Nutella of course) log on, respond to your emails and post bits. I heard from some of you today again which was absolutely lovely - I am missing you all! Around noon I decided to do my workout, it was hard to begin with but I managed to push myself to the end. I went for a run yesterday evening which was lovely as it's been a while. As a result though my legs are really aching today! Waking up tomorrow will definitely be interesting... Let's see what happens! Until tomorrow Swifts...

Day 38: Wednesday 3rd June -

Dear Diary,

Today's been a great day! I've been in School today :) It was strange going back but a nice feeling to be back at work and in a familiar setting. I managed to see some staff which was lovely. How have you been today? The weather has been rubbish hasn't it? Hopefully you've all managed to keep busy! I've been super productive and got lots of bits done. Guess what? I'm going to be teaching in Year one tomorrow and Friday as my lovely class aren't back in School yet. That'll be really interesting, I'll let you know how it goes. Until tomorrow my super Swifts...

Day 41: Monday 8th June -

Dear Diary,

Happy Monday my SUPER Swifts! It's a new week which means one thing... another week for new goals and fresh opportunities! Waking up, I felt really positive and ready to tackle the day. I got up and completed my usual routine without any hesitation. I don't know why but I just felt really motivated and wanted to get lots of bits done. I did bits around the house too and completed my daily workout. It was quite exciting later in the day as I received some parcels - bits that I had ordered as a treat online last week. Nothing too fancy! Just lots of gym clothes and some trainers to help keep me motivated through my workout phase. It's doing the trick however, I really do need to stop buying more things now! Miss Jones thinks that I might have a slight shopping problem...shush, don't tell her! I hope you've had a good start to the week today? I'd love to hear from you, get in touch and let me know what you've been up to! Until tomorrow Swifts...

It's been great being in School again today, teaching the Year ones and being with other members of staff. However, it was so hard getting out of bed this morning. Being back more often makes me tired so easily. I think it's because my body isn't use to it... I'll get back into the swing of things though! Just needs some practice :) I'll be sleeping well tonight, that's for sure! Have a fabulous weekend Swifts, you deserve it!
