Ocean Habitats

Monday 8th June is World Ocean Day!

Last week we looked at habitats and in particular the animals and insects that live outside in our gardens and surrounding area.

This week we are going to stick with habitats but look into the ocean.  Did you know that the Ocean covers 70% of the Earth's surface? That is so much!!  There is so much we do not know so this is your chance to do some research.  Your task is to create a factfile on the ocean.  It can be about a particular ocean or even a sea creature.  You can present the work in the form of a poster, powerpoint, leaflet or any other way you would like.

There are some resources below to give you an idea of what you can look into.

This work will give you a great understanding ready for next week when we swim further into the oceans and explore even more!
