Dear Parents and Carers,

A very warm welcome to the Preschool class pages.  Here you will find information about our topics in Preschool. We have different topics throughout the year where we focus on particular books and linked activities to develop the children's knowledge and skills. Early Years - Bitterne Manor Primary School

Our topics are flexible as we also plan and teach according to the children's interests e.g. we may go off set topic and plan instead for topics of interest such as Encanto or Pokemon themed learning. This is so that we can highly engage the children based on their individual interests. This will therefore encourage child-led learning to further promote their knowledge and skills.

We use Tapestry as a form of communication which we update weekly. We send out a weekly blog on Tapestry as well as a summary of your child's focused learning for that week. We also use this to send out updates and reminders to ensure that you are kept informed.
