Charging & Lettings

The law states that schools cannot charge for educational visits, although we may ask for voluntary contributions. We hope that you will recognise the importance of these visits to children's learning and that you will continue to support us when we ask for contributions.
If you do not wish to make a contribution, or if your circumstances are such that you find this difficult, please contact the headteacher in complete confidence. However, please bear in mind, if there are insufficient contributions for a particular visit, it will have to be cancelled. A small charge is made towards the cost of music tuition in school. In addition to this, where children use a school instrument, parents are expected to maintain them in good order and to pay for replacement strings, reeds etc. as necessary. We advise parents to ensure that instruments are included in household insurance policies since they are also responsible for loss or damage.

The school also has a lettings policy which is available below.
