Last week we asked you to create a 'global meal' as a menu, picture or to actually make it. This week we would like you to look more closely at where all your ingredients came from and how far they had to travel. You could plot the places on a map and/or use the food miles calculator below to work out just how far your food has travelled!
Can you create a menu or meal where none of your food has been imported? How easy is this? What are the advantages and disadvantages to buying locally sourced food?
